A 2010 national survey of consumers in Colombia found poor of the nutritional habits.  To change these habits, the country has been airing television ads, internet campaigns and publishing health information in newspapers and magazines. One important way Colombian are addressing their issues are with an increased uptake in vitamins and supplements. While an exercise routine or dietary change may be a daunting task, taking a daily supplement is an easy adjustment, and this practice is responsible for sales of over Col$587 billion in vitamins and dietary supplements in 2013.
