Description

In almost every country in Europe, the youth unemployment rate exceeds the total unemployment rate. These high rates are having a negative impact on the consumer goods industry, as unemployed young people lack spending power. However, Carrie Lennard, Government, Labour and Education Manager at Euromonitor states that those who have a lower education are less likely to be unemployed.
