Description

This week we are talking about failure. Something Richie and I have become very familiar with! It’s easy to look at a person’s Instagram feed or website and feel like they have it all figured out but there’s a lot you don’t see.
Over the years we have messed so many things up and questioned whether we are cut out for creative biz at all.
If you feel like you are fumbling at the moment, we want you to know that you are not alone. We also want you to know that there is magic in those failures even if it is hard to see that right now.
So with that said, join us as we share the failures we have had so far in our art business. From Richie’s reluctance to spend money on podcasting equipment right through to Laura’s questionable skills at packing a car for an art market - this conversation spans all sorts. There are failures in podcasting, filming, printing, painting, framing, accounting and more!
We hope that you find it encouraging and relatable. There’s a lot of laughs in this one! I don’t know how many times I’ve said to Richie in the midst of a failure ‘If I don’t laugh, I’ll cry’. Never thought that would be one of my art biz mantras but it seems to help!
