Description
The situation in Afghanistan has again brought a focus to the issue of refugees. Regardless of our political views, refugees are entering our country and our communities in record numbers. What is the role of the church, what is OUR role in engaging refugees with the love of Christ? Rev. Andrew Lee has worked at two of the largest Chinese churches in New York and Chicago. An immigrant himself, he has some powerful insights on how we can be a part of a Christ-like solution, this weekend on Missions Today.
Rev Andrew Lee is the Associate Director of the Global Diaspora Institute at Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. He has served at the largest Chinese churches in New York City and Chicago. He has also been a seminary professor at several institutions and has written for both the academic and ministry worlds. He holds a Ph.D. in religion.
