Description

Guerilla Cricket meets Dan Newman of JDRF UK
Throughout the rolling, tumbling, dice throwing mayhem of the Dickwella Broad Owzat Trophy, we’ve been partnering with JDRF UK.
In this special episode of the Guerilla Cricket Podcast, Guerilla and DBOT finalist Tony Bishop, meets Daniel Newman of JDRF UK. Diagnosed at 10 years old with Type 1 Diabetes, Dan’s journey has been challenging, deeply moving and inspiring in equal measure.  He tells us about the amazing work of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and his role in their work to improve lives and one day eradicate the condition for good. We also talk about famous cricketers who have Type 1, Pakistan and Lancashire legend Wasim Akram amongst them.
