Description
On this episode we have a very special guest, Dr Eleanor Holden. Eleanor graduated as a veterinarian from The University of Queensland in 2003, and then spent some time in mixed practice in Lilydale, Victoria followed by a small animal rotating internship at the University of Melbourne. After spending a few years back at the University of Queensland as a clinical anaesthetist she headed to the University of Glasgow to undertake a residency in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia. After completing her residency in 2015 she was appointed as an anaesthesia clinician before returning to Australia in 2017.
Eleanor became a Diplomat of the European College of Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2017 and she is also a member of the anaesthesia and analgesia chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. Eleanor enjoys all aspects of anaesthesia and has an interest in loco-regional anaesthesia and chronic pain management. She is currently based in Melbourne, Australia working for Veterinary Anaesthesia Specialists providing Specialist Consultancy & Education in Veterinary Anaesthesia.
