Description

Hey TVTP fans, welcome to episode 18 of your favourite Pets and Vets podcast!

We start things off with some Chitty Chat Chat about the number of arthritic dogs and cats that Robbie is seeing, who are struggling with the cold Melbourne winter. Lewis laments over AFL retirements and getting ignored by supermodels. Robbie talks about his whippet Rosie who had a dental recently (videos to come!), and a bizarre experience with a bird flying through a car window at speed. And Lewis finds out some info about a possible treatment for Diabetes coming from Australia's own Franken-Duck!

We rock into podcast proper, Lewis runs through the in's and out's of trimming nails, with tips to try and get the nails short, without hitting the bleedy sore bit of the quick.

Robbie talks about Polydipsia, or drinking too much. Including how much is too much.

Normal Drinking 40-50ml water per Kilogram per day (ie 10kg Dog drinking 400-500ml per day)
Too Much Drinking 90-100ml water per Kilogram per day (ie 10kg Dog Drinking 900-1000ml per day)

And Mailbag brings a question about advice with cats trying to chew plants inside.
