Description

Thanks for checking out Episode 48 of the Two Vets Talk Pets Podcast, where too much talking of pets is barely enough. This episode is proudly supported by Zylkene from Vetquinol - a safe way to help your dog or cat that may be stressed or have a mild anxiety - safe in the young, the old, the big and the small. We had a great personal story of Victorian Schnauzer Rescue using it in their dogs.

This episode is also supported by Prime 100 Pet foods - Australian made, Single Protein source diets for dogs and cats! Huge range, lots of flavours, for lots of different life stages, and diseases - So many options, great diets, lots of variety. Super Tasty. I'm told...
And also we are putting the feelers out for friend of the show Dr Clint Yudelman, from Insight Mobile Veterinary Diagnostics - a mobile Veterinary Medicine Specialist service, operating around Melbourne, and the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsulas.  Clint is looking for a new vet to join his Mobile Specialist Service. Follow the link, and drop him a line if you are an Internal Medicine Specialist and are looking to get mobile!
This week Lewis has been playing with a Penguin that was rescued and brought into his work. Robbie was seeing incredibly large dogs down at the beach, and Lewis has received some right royal correspondence.
Lewis also has some news about a dog running a half marathon instead of going to the toilet. Robbie found out about a great new game for all the boys and girls, who like to pat dogs, and get wet. Then Lewis has found an odd story about a lady that has some odd injuries, from a goat.
And watch out for Valentines day.
There has been a recall on some Hills Canned Dog Food - read the media release here. Robbie then gives a run through in why too much Vitamin D is not a good thing.
Lewis then delves into the reason to why horse trainers may ALLEGEDLY use electrical shock devices when trying to train horses. Boo Hiss...
If you'd like to support the show check out our page at Patreon, and sign up to one of the options, and get yourself or your bumper an awesome sticker.
If you have any questions you'd like to ask Lewis and Robbie send us an email at twovetstalkpets@gmail.com, or you can contact us or find us on  Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
Otherwise, have an awesome day.
I'm still not sure anyone actually reads down to this part...
