Seven years ago, Eva Benefield (15) had two loving and happily married parents. Today, at 21, she has neither. After her mother's sudden death and watching her dad remarry and have a child with a 24-year-old, she is faced with the unimaginable trauma of her father's murder. This sounds like a movie plot but it is far from it is Eva's reality. Now, Eva starts to pick up the pieces of her adolescents as her stepmother who killed her father awaits trial.
