It’s cookout day at the University of Miami! The Hurricanes will have a big recruiting event on Saturday, July 30th, before the “dead period” begins at Midnight on the 31st. Some big names are expected to attend. Oregon commit, 5-star WR Jurrion Dickey, will be at the cookout. He has a good relationship with QB commit Jaden Rashada, and Miami may be hoping to flip Dickey from the Ducks. 5-star DE Samuel M’Pemba from IMG Academy will be in attendance. The Hurricanes are battling the Gators and a handful of TOP programs for his commitment. 
Host Alex Donno and special guest Brad Tejeda from Canes Insight break down these latest recruiting targets and discuss whether some surprise commits or flips may come from the cookout. Some top players from the class of 2024, like 5-star RB Jerrick Gibson, will be attending the event as well, along with most of the committed players from the class like Francis Mauigoa, Jaden Rashada, Antonio Tripp and others. 
Donno and Brad also discuss Canes targets like Jayden Bonsu and Samson Okunlola. Will they end up announcing the Hurricanes as expected, or will other schools swoop in to sway them away?
