So what's the big deal, right? If you have a great product and service, then that should be enough to get clients coming in. That would be true for most things but it doesn't work with ads because people are busy! They're scanning their Facebook feed or reading articles on Twitter while they wait at an airport gate.
The most important thing is to keep it as focused on what they want - because if you do then not only will they buy from your store but also share news of their purchase with friends! That's how word-of-mouth advertising works best!
But don't forget that many people might be browsing or reading content while doing something else so think about using user-friendly language and how you want to interrupt their reading.
