Description

It's pretty rare that we get to talk about an iconic gaming character's debut, so episodes like this hit a little harder for me. And when you add in my previous traumatic experiences with Kirby's Dream Land, and I really feel like I'm taking a big step on the podcast this week.

And if you're wondering, "how someone could have a traumatic experience with a Kirby game?" Well, you'll have to listen and find out.

My buddy Patrick makes his return to the podcast this week. He's a GameBoy junkie, a nerd like the rest of us, and a great guest. We took a trip back to 1992 on the show this time around, and looked at the debut of Nintendo's resident foodie, Kirby, with Kirby's Dream Land.

And before we talk about eating everything and a wimpy ass tree, it's time for another edition of the 'Remember The Game Infamous Intro'!

This week, we talk about the potential for emulation on the Steam Deck. I also talk about how I was set up for a great career in voice acting before puberty wrecked everything, and I go after Wata games again, because they're a fucking joke.

PLUS, we have another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', featuring some flagship Kirby titles - Kirby's Adventure, Kirby Super Star, and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.
