He is a very experienced professional in my field who is extremely knowledgeable not only about his subject area but about related topics as well.   His name is Ernesto, and I guess I met him during one of the conference breaks. My colleague introduced me to him, and the three of us talked over coffee. The discussion covered a variety of topics, both related and unrelated to work. Ernesto possessed the rare combination of being an engaging speaker and a patient listener.
