Editor's Note, 2020: This podcast was recorded before the revelations about Nobuhiro Watsuki and the subsequent failure to prosecute him for his crime. As a consequence of the Watsuki situation, we've since reevaluated our feelings on Shimabukuro's own allegations and are less enthusiastic and supportive of him and his work. We still feel this episode is worth sharing, but we wanted to note that our feelings on this series and its creator are more complicated and critical now.
