So much for that easy, breezy spring training, because Greg Bird has to go to New York to see a doctor about his foot, and if that sounds familiar, well, it is. The good news for the Yankees is that this year, if there's anything serious about Bird's foot, there's no Chris Carter or Ji-Man Choi or Garrett Cooper, but actual, capable, major league players who can take over.
