Welcome to Episode 387 where we are joined by “Shiftin'” Tristan Brown.
In this episode for Good Pop Bad Pop it’s all movies. Brian and Tristan give their thoughts on the new Halloween Kills trailer to start things off. We talk about the new Steven Soderbergh movie No Sudden Move now on HBO Max starring Don Cheadle and Benicio del Toro. Chris Pratt stars in the new action sci-fi The Tomorrow War on Amazon Prime Video where he plays Dan Forester a science teacher drafted to fight in a future war where the fate of humanity relies on his ability to confront his past. DC Animated has a new movie Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One and we give our thoughts on it. Netflix is dipping it’s toes into more horror and this time it’s R.L. Stine’s Fear Street series. Fear Street Part 1: 1994 is the first in a trilogy that are being dropped on Netflix weekly. In the aftermath of a brutal tragedy in Shadyside, Ohio, a group of teens discover that a series of horrifying events that have plagued their town over many years might not be random, and that they may be the next victims.
Brian talks about a new comedy/horror film Werewolves Within now available on VOD and he gives his thoughts on the fifth entry in to the Purge franchise with The Forever Purge.
In News Vin Diesel is teasing Riddick 4. Scott Adkins might be joining John Wick 4. And Noah Hawley is ready to start filming his Aliens series for FX.
In Marvel News Kevin Feige playfully throws shade at Alfred “The Spoiler” Molina.
And in DC News why did James Gunn choose Polka Dot Man to be a character in The Suicide Squad?

Every week we bring you the latest news in Movies and Television. It's friends getting together and talking about what they love or hate in the genre. We aren't experts, we're not critics, we're not writers but we are FANS! We're called The Leftovers for a reason. We're like Danny DeVito in Twins. All the talent and originality went into the other podcasts. All the crap that was left over...went into what you listen to on this show. We talk about the latest movies in MARVEL like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. DC movies like The Batman, The Flash, Black Adam. And all the STAR WARS movies. But we also cover other blockbusters and don't shy away from indie films as well. We breakdown and discuss new trailers for upcoming movies. And we got you covered in television with shows like Moon Knight, The Boys, Umbrella Academy, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Cobra Kai, Stranger Things, The Mandalorian, Halo, The Last of Us, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, Loki, Secret Invasion Ironheart, Ms. Marvel, The Book of Boba Fett, Peacemaker, The Walking Dead and more. We love to review the first episodes of most shows and let you know if it's worth your time. So strap yourself in and have a good time! Strap yourself in? Really? Just listen. No straps required. Unless you're into that sort of thing.
