WRP 93 - Babas special - This week we have a very special podcast for you. Following the autumn internationals we jump straight into the Barbarians, the special, historic club; with five of the squad joining us! We have the two coaches, who are teaming up together again; Jo Yapp from Worcester and Rachel Taylor, one of the Sale Sharks coaches. They tell us how they are building the rapport within the squad, the challenges of such limited training time and just what it means to be involved. Plus why every player has to have a sheep!!! We also have the players' perspective, with Canada's Laura Russell, fresh from winning her 50th cap for her country; she depicts the joy in finally being able to pull the famous black and white shirt. French back rower Lenaig Corson, on her second appearance for the Babas, tells us who is leading the charge on and off the field. And who she is most looking forward to playing with. Plus we have Katy Daly-McLean MBE (from her hotel bed!!), the World Cup winning captain is finally going to tick one of the last boxes in women's rugby.
