Description

WRP 103 - Gone in 80 minutes....This week's pod is a blockbuster (we think so anyway)!!! Looking ahead to the World Cup Qualifier between Scotland & Colombia, 80 minutes to book a place at rugby's showpiece event in New Zealand later this year. The episode is hosted by Johnnie Hammond & current England captain Sarah Hunter MBE & being such a big week for Scottish rugby, we had to go for an "A-lister"..........Dr Rachel Malcom - the Scotland skipper joins Sarah & Johnnie. "Scotty" talks about the whole Dubai experience they have been on, what they are expecting from Colombia (including unpredictability!), how they are approaching the 80-minute winner takes all match. Rachel also opens up about the role & motivation that the late Siobhan Cattigan is bringing to the whole squad. All the rest of the topics in the world of women's rugby are covered too, Nandi Buthelezi has her round-up. As well as SH & JH chatting about Super Rugby Aupiki, a solid review of the Premier XVs results from the weekend; which includes "Sunter" speaking of the developing relationship between Loughborough Lightening & Northampton Saints, off the back of their first game played at Franklin's Gardens. Plus predictions are given for this weekend's round of games, a strong message about behaviour towards officials & as ever there are YOUR shout outs. #WRP @womensrugbypod www.halbro.com/WRP Coming soon Our GDPR privacy policy was updated on August 8, 2022.
