Description

Kris digs in this week to recap the crazy year of 2020 and reflect on her biggest accomplishments and challenges, both personally and professionally. She gives a roundup of the best moments of 2020, the top three insights from the year that we can take into 2021 and beyond, and even shares something controversial as well. This has been a year of strength, innovation, and challenge for many of us, but Kris fully believes the growth of 2021 will be something to uplift us and provide us with even more gratitude for the things we love to do and for the people that we love to do them with.   Key Takeaways: [3:35] Kris begins with January 2020, where the New Decade, New You Masterclass, and Goal Setting process were underway. Little did she know what a huge shift we were about to have, but in some ways, this was setting the stage for all the strength and character we would have to possess in the months to come. She also talks about the best Academy Live Meeting in Atlanta, with a great three-day meeting for the members. [8:42] Kris discusses what it was like for herself and the staff during the beginning of the lockdown in March. She jumped into helping secure their PPP funds and even worked around the red tape of large corporate banks by going to a smaller community bank for her own loans. [12:00] Kris accomplished a professional dream: landing number 3,764 on the INC. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America. [13:17] There were also some major personal accomplishments and events, including getting engaged, a new dream lake house, and watching her son graduate from high school. [16:39] The Child Care Summit was the first virtual one, and so far also held the highest number of attendees. [22:07] In a very tumultuous year, Child Care Success Company grew by 35% and was able to hire some great new team members. [27:21] Kris admits to an “oopsie” moment on a webinar where her predictions about the pandemic were off. [30:19] The three insights Kris has had in 2020: We are way tougher than we thought and full of resilience and grit. The world may have and likely needed to hit the reset button. Not only just for humans but wildlife and the environment in general. 2021 is going to be epic and we will see unprecedented levels of enrollment in a slow but upward curve. [39:37] Controversial statement: Kris will be getting the vaccine and at this time doesn’t believe it’s all a ploy for Bill Gates to track us and microchip us. But, she respects all opinions.   Quotes:  “I don’t hold onto anything that doesn’t serve me for very long.” “We doubled down. We worked really hard, and you guys showed up.” “We are a lot tougher than we realize.” “Unprecedented levels of growth are available for you; all you have to do is tap into it.”   Mentioned in This Episode: Kris Murray The Child Care Success Company The Child Care Success Academy The Child Care Success Summit INC5000 Fastest Growing Companies in 2020 Jim Kwick Marshall Goldsmith Six Figures In Seven Days
