It seems like Halloween just happened, and yet Disney is already celebrating Halfway to Halloween. Food from Disney chefs at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World are on tap, along with a Twitter watch party for Hocus Pocus on Wednesday, April 27th at 5pm Disneyland time, which will also include some digital wallpaper downloads. On Thursday, more announcements will be made to celebrate. Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort in the next few days can experience the ghoulishly delicious treats to celebrate Halfway to Halloween. At Downtown Disney, there will be a Cheddar Pickle Dog at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs through May 1st. A new Disneyland After Dark event is coming to the resort for the first time. The Main Street Electrical Parade returned this past week with a few new surprises that weren’t announced. We all know about the new text on the lead float, and the reimagined finale float, but even more was changed! The intro to the parade has been reworked to include part of Walt’s opening day speech, and the music has been updated for the finale float. A little bit of extra magic was added to the finale float along “its a mall world” and Main Street.
