What's up? What's going on?  This episode of English with Dane was inspired by a conversation I had with a listener over Instagram. I found myself giving him advice on how to improve, how to take that next step and I'm pretty sure it was motivated by him saying he wants to talk like ME one day. I answered that I would prefer if he spoke like himself (but in English) and after thinking about it for a few days, I thought it would be useful to record an episode about this idea of "being yourself in English". It seems like a straightforward thing, something that is clear and simple, but it made me really think.
