Description

Here's a conversation I recorded with my friend Mario Marzo while we were in Tenerife. We talk about the role of confidence in language-learning, his experience as a non-native speaker growing up and how his approach to learning a new language has paid off. We also talk about more stuff too, so listen to the episode and find out. I met Mario towards the end of summer and we hit it off (that's a good expression). We got along right away, basically. I thought it was really interesting that his English was so good and I assumed he had spent time living in an English-speaking country and when I asked him and found out he had never, I was pretty shocked. Since then, I've wanted to have this conversation with him on the podcast and so that's what this is. Let me know what you think and if his message rings true for you. ¿Hablas español y quieres mejorar tu inglés? Then English with Dane is perfect for you. I talk about things like movies, news, sports, music, history, etc, and I always pay special attention to practical vocabulary, expressions and the infinite nuances (sutilezas) that we'll find along the way. Prueba y me cuentas. ¡Ah! ✌️
