Not sure it’s something you could do, but still just can’t let the idea go?I hear you! And, I am here to tell you that everyone’s journey is different. To prove it, I’m sharing our story about how we literally packed our way to minimalism as a family. I can almost guarantee that no one else in the world has my story. And no one else in the world has your story. How are you going to write your journey to minimalism? Our journey started about 6 years ago. I was working from my home office, when I looked down at my then 6 week old daughter who had just dozed off in my lap. In that moment an idea that would change my life hit me like a ton of bricks… since my husband and I were both working from home, we could be anywhere in the world as long as we had a strong internet connection. What followed that morning was our first stab (and utter failure) at minimalism. We became “those” people who sold everything and set out to travel the world. Unfortunately, it ended faster than it began and we rebounded to a home full of stuff, jobs that stressed us out, and a sever case of mom guilt. However, that’s not the end our our story. Five years after that failure, we traveled again and experienced 3 major mind shifts that firmly planted us in the minimalist family camp. This episode will help explain more.Subscribe & Review in iTunesAre you subscribed to the Wannabe Minimalist Show podcast? If you’re not, I want to encourage you to do that today.
