We’re hearing from so many incredible vintage sellers in Kalamazoo, starting Anika, the owner of Kalamazoo Fashion House and Great Lakes Thrift Co.  Anika Johnson is a lifelong avid thrifter and a West Michigan native. She studied fashion at Western Michigan University, and in 2018 started a vintage business, Great Lakes Thrift Co., as a vendor for Vintage in the Zoo. Today, Anika owns and operates both Great Lakes Thrift Co., and the Kalamazoo Fashion House, where they fulfill their mission of bringing curated vintage fashion to downtown Kalamazoo. In the second half of the episode, we go to Vintage in the Zoo! You’ll hear from Megan and Pat, the husband and wife duo behind this market, as well as many of the vintage sellers at the market.
