We’ve been discussing summer blockbusters and this time, we talk about the 2000 film Gladiator.Directed by Ridley Scott, the film focuses on Russel Crowe playing Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius, who is betrayed by Joaquin Phoenix’s Commodus, the ambitious son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, who murders his father and seizes the throne.
