Psoriasis can be a very isolating condition that causes a lot of shame. My guest today will discuss how and why psoriasis can affect mental health and even lead to depression. My guest today, Dr. Fabrizio Galimberti, completed his medical training at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine-Case Western Reserve University, received his doctorate degree from Dartmouth College and his residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Galimberti's research interests include oncodermatology, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, and impact on quality of life of dermatologic conditions. He has published numerous articles in prestigious journals as well as presented his work at international conferences. Join us as we discuss the connection between psoriasis and depression.
