The attack comes to Jim Hawkins and the men at the small fortification on the island, and when the smoke clears the dead and wounded need to be taken care of. Hawkins, after the battle, finds Gunn's small boat and makes way for the Hispaniola to cut it loose from its moorings, buts finds more than he bargained for.
