Zane Grey by 1920 was the most popular writer in America. He enjoyed the West, played minor league ball for awhile, and became an avid fisherman- of all types of fish, from Marlin to Barracuda to Tarpon and Bonefish.  This story is just one of many in his "Fish Tales" collection, and it is a great story of the patience it takes to hunt and catch Bonefish- as well as the excitement they cause when they strip 100 yards of line off a casting reel in seconds.
