We'll discuss her 2020 publication, Right of Way: Race, Class, and the Silent Epidemic of Pedestrian Deaths in America. The book discusses the startlingly high number of pedestrian fatalities in the U.S. and the reasons why non-white male foot-travelers are disproportionately likely to be killed by a motor vehicle. Like most other elements of White Supremacy, words are crucially important to understanding the history of road development and the laws governing motorists and pedestrians.
