Description

Episode 59 is a conversation with my old friend Olympia based musician, artist, world / interdimensional traveller, Arrington de Dionyso.
It was so good to sit down with Arrington in person in my painting studio a couple weeks back to record this conversation. I've long admired his singular, steadfast approach to art and music making over the decades we've been friends. His passion and creative fire shines through in everything he does and this light has been a consistent inspiration to me over the years. I'm happy to share this conversation.
We cover wide ranging territory starting with his musical roots in the Spokane punk scene of the 80's. He describes the profound impact seeing live touring bands like The Go-Team, Steel Pole Bathtub and NoMeansNo had on him as a teenager. We go on to visit some highlights of his world travels including his time with The Master Musicians of Joujouka and interdimensional explorations with plant medicines. We cover the history of his long running band Old Time Relijun and so much more.
Thank you for listening!
