Description
MLB’s Hall of Fame recently voted on a slate of potential inductees from baseball’s “steroid era.” The game benefited from the performance of these players. Specifically, they helped bring enthusiasm and crowd back to the sport after a bitter work stoppage. Is it hypocritical for baseball to deny them enshrinement in the hall? What about other sports? Do any of them really want to police steroid use or would they really rather just capitalize on the players’ improved performance? We discuss the question, should steroids just be legal in sports? This is definitely an opinion-based episode, so don’t hold us too much to account for our knowledge (or lack thereof) of specific testing protocols in specific sports.
