Description
Following a big move to Berlin prompted by Brexit, Dialogue Books publisher Sharmaine Lovegrove joins us this week to reflect on her journey of finding home. Having experienced homelessness after she moved out of her family home at 16, Sharmaine speaks about the difficulty she had receiving government support due to assumptions made about her middle class background. Despite a strained relationship with her parents, Sharmaine acknowledges the privileges her upbringing afforded her and speaks about how she’s fuelled to use it to help others.
