Abby Watson is the Head of Government Affairs for Siemens Gamesa, managing the company's state and federal policy agenda across North America. Siemens Gamesa is an international renewable energy company based in Spain. Abby chats about wind energy, lobbying, responding to RFPs, and the differences between east coast and west coast government relations work. She attended Penn State University, and earned her B.A. in Energy and Sustainability Policy. She is pursuing her Executive MBA from Villanova School of Business. Abby worked for a variety of renewable energy companies, including Astrum Solar and RealWinWin. She has worked with Siemens Gamesa for the last 8 years, and was originally hired as a development assistant.
