It’s time to get your brave on! Use this time to get all the facts BEFORE you make the trip. Build your relationship with the host. This is a networking opportunity so connect with the people who are there. It’s always about the long game when it comes to entrepreneurship. Stay awhile after the event, get there early and help set up, or ask how you can promote their book; do something for them! Make the appearance about them! This day all isn't about you, show the host that you want to help promote, sell a program or help sell their book. There are so many ways you can make the event about them out!   Speech is a powerful thing. It can change minds and reach so many people. However, without the right approach and cultivated relationship, you might have a hard time even getting your foot in the door.
