Description
John previously served as director of the Central Intelligence Agency and was one of President Obama's most trusted national security advisors for the full Obama Administration. Before becoming Director in 2013, Brennan worked in the CIA from 1980 to 2005 specializing in Middle Eastern affairs and counterterrorism. He then started a consulting firm, before returning as Obama’s Homeland Security Advisor from 2009 to 2013 and then served as CIA director until 2017. This means he has served 3 Republican and 3 Democratic administrations.
