He was formerly Division Chief for the Asia, Latin America, and Eurasia (ALE) Response Division in the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA).MAJ David Thompson is an active duty U.S. Army Civil Affairs Major assigned to 96th Civil Affairs Battalion (SO)(A). He has a number of deployments to the Middle East and Southwest Asia. David has a Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee University School fo Law. He also holds a BS in Economics and MBA-Leadership from Liberty University. Outside the military, he's worked at the UN Refugee Agency, Department of Defense, and Physicians for Human Rights - Israel.
