Description

This is a special episode of Maed in India where we’re collaborating with Toto Funds The Arts - an incredible non-profit trust created in memory of Angirus ‘Toto’ Vellani by his friends and family after his tragic and untimely passing in 2004. Toto Funds The Arts nurtures and encourages young artists in India in music, literature and film through awards, workshops and other events. We here at Maed in India, work hard to support Indian musicians in this country. And despite the pandemic and lockdown, the Toto Music Award continues this year, to support the creative endeavours of young indie artists and honour them with a badge of excellence for their work. We are showcasing past winners of the Toto Music Award and Mae will be telling you more about how to apply in this week’s episode of Maed in India.    Toto Website: http://totofundsthearts.blogspot.com/   Set List: Adam & The Fish Eyed Poets - Wartime Mornings (03:47 - 07:59) Peter Cat Recording Co - Floated By (11:15 - 15:32) Plastic Parvati - Quintessential Love Song (18:46 - 20:03) Disco Puppet - Teacher Destroyer (23:39 - 26:03)   Come be our friend: Facebook https://www.facebook.com/maedinindia Instagram https://www.instagram.com/maedinindia/ Twitter https://twitter.com/maedinindia   CREDITS: Host: Mae Twitter: https://twitter.com/maebemaebe Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/maemariyam/ Audio Editor Post: Vijay Doiphode Producer: Shaun Fanthome
