In this second episode of a three-part series on SGLT-2 inhibitors Drs. John Russell and Neil Skolnik discuss the renal effects of the SGLT-2 inhibitors, as well as the place of the SGLT-2is in the American Diabetes Association Guidelines and address practical issues about SGLT-2 inhibitor use. In episode 1, Drs. Russell and Skolnik discussed an overview of the CVOTs for the SGLT-2 inhibitors and in episode 3 they will focus heart failure outcomes.
