Dr. Gian Pietro Schincaglia received his Dental degree from the University of Ferrara in Italy and his Periodontal Certificate from the University of Southern California. Since 2003 he has been a Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology and in 2006 he received his PhD degree in bone biology from the University of Ferrara. From 2007 to 2014 he was Associate Professor in Periodontology and Director of the Graduate Program in Periodontology at the University of Connecticut. He is currently the Chair and Post Graduate Program Director of the Department of Periodontology at WVU. He has been published extensively in peer-review journals.
