Description

Katherine McQuade was born and raised in Whitestone, New York. While she grew up as a timid child, her mom always instilled in her communication skills, confidence, poise and grace. As a young child, Katherine started opening up to her natural skills and talents through dance. Through the Landrum School of Performing Arts Company Dance Team she was able to dance competitively for over a decade. It is one of Katherine’s ambitions to be a Radio City Music Hall Rockett. One lesson that Katherine learned through dance was to always win and lose graciously, a humble experience for any competitor. Her journey began competing in the National American Miss system, a pageant system that is widely regarded as one of the best for developing young women’s confidence and self-esteem through its competition.
