Description

Midland Shop is known for its curations of ethically-made, artisan, quality goods. With two locations in Los Angeles, Midland now has its eye on ramping up its e-commerce division and expanding beyond the coastal market. And while co-founder Paige Appel jokes that this is her third career (she was in film and event planning before Midland blossomed), the shop is ready as ever to learn how to scale the brand to a larger, online market. Alli sat down with her longtime BFF Paige to hear all about Midland's evolution. From fertility and divorce to friendship and business, Paige and Alli reflect on how they've changed as moms and entrepreneurs, the personal hurdles they've overcome, and the tools and resources that have helped them get through it. Keep up with Paige at @midland_shop and @paigeappel.  And don't forget to follow @alliwebb for #BTS. A show for entrepreneurs, for anyone who wants to know about business, or how to have a life while having a business. Founders Alli Webb and Michael Landau speak to budding and successful business owners whose ideas they love. Alli started their business Drybar by driving herself around to homes in Los Angeles to give blow-outs to clients, but then their business took off. Now, Drybar has over a hundred stores across the country. Alli and Michael share what it takes to risk everything on a great idea, they share the things they’re obsessed with -- and they fight like brother and sister. Oh, did we forget to mention that Alli and Michael are also siblings?
