First we zoom in on Billie, the Serena Williams-backed company that’s leading the charge with its #projectbodyhair initiative that reinforces the fact that shaving is a choice. We also break down the meaning of the “pink tax” and what some brands are doing to fire back. Next, we take a look at the industry giants duping the indie brands with radically different ads featuring women of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and skin conditions compared to the svelte, pale and completely hairless models of years past.  Full disclosure: Carlene and Jill still shave, wax and gadget their way to a hair-free aesthetic (in some body areas, anyway).
