The consensus in the feedback this week on the Probst penalty for rice-gate was consistent. They really blew this opportunity to reaffirm the title of the show and ensured that we will likely see future castaways treating this like Let's Make a Deal instead of Survivor when it comes to recovering from bad decisions. There were various predictions for who will end up in the controlling alliance after the merge, but most agree that Josh and Reed are in trouble.
