Description
Innovation in government is fervently sought after, yet seldom reported. Not so in this episode, where Brian had the opportunity to discuss the ACC-OC's recent Golden Hub of Innovation Awards ceremony. Hosted annually, the Golden Hubs are a chance for Orange County cities, agencies, and the County itself to showcase their innovations that improve government in some significant way. This year, ACC-OC's Innovator of the Year award was awarded to Anaheim Fire and Rescue Chief Randy Bruegman, under whose leadership a partnership between the City of Anaheim and Kaiser Permanente was created to more efficiently deliver medical services to injured residents. Chief Bruegman and company stepped into the Square to highlight this partnership, so tune in to hear about this excellent innovation!
