Description
When we think of key people who can navigate public policy with ease, elected officials usually come to mind. But what about folks who aren't elected? In this episode, we talk to three gentlemen with incredibly policy acumen here in Orange County, all of whom are returning guests to the show. First up were Jim Box and Jim Vanderpool, the City Managers of Stanton and Buena Park, respectively. Affectionately referred to as "Jim Squared," the City Manager pair updated us on new things happening in their cities and in ACC-OC's City Manager Committee. If you live in Buena Park, expect that new Porto's bakery soon; if you live in Stanton, a spectacular park will debut in June! Following the dynamic duo was Dustin Reilich of the HERO Program. A fixture in the Square, Dustin always has fascinating information to share with us--including the $81 million in energy-saving projects that HERO has financed in Orange County alone since it started! Now that's we call conservation! Tune in for a raucous and fun-filled episode of The City Square!
