Description
Haylin Belay is a sex educator, holistic health expert, public speaker, and witch based in New York City. Her expertise lies at the intersection of identity, health, and pleasure, whether she’s helping clients use Tarot to connect to their intuition or teaching a classroom of teenagers proper condom technique. With nearly a decade of experience in health promotion, Haylin is passionate about bringing spirituality, sex, and social justice together under one unifying manifesto: “All people deserve an integrated sex life and the healthy pursuit of pleasure.” In this episode, Haylin shares stories from all of the different facets of her life and work – as a sex educator, tarot reader, writer, and practicing witch. She talks about how to live an integrated sex life, including some questions to ask yourself in order to get more in touch with who you are as a sexual person, and she shares the type of sex education she would like to see happening in classrooms everywhere. We talk about so many other things as well – relationship anarchy, spirituality and tarot, toxic masculinity and objectification, and more. There are a few audio hiccups with Skype in the first twenty-ish minutes, but stick with it, I promise. Haylin has so much wisdom and truth to share throughout this episode, and I know you’ll love it as much as I did. (more…)
