SERMON DESCRIPTION
Ever feel like you’re spinning on a broken record? Overcoming great challenges, working through pain and loss, only to find yourself tripped back up by brokenness all over again? ...It gets pretty tiring, to say the least. At some point most of us have probably felt like finding a way off the turn table or calling upon some envisioned master disc player to change the music!! Hello?! MC?? This disc is scratched!! ...But new vinyl doesn’t seem to be part of the record contract. Can we ever break through the brokenness to the happiness, wholeness and harmony we long for, when the record itself is so clearly broken? At Sunday’s Point we’ll reconnect with our breakthrough power for navigating scratchy vinyl, time and again, and somehow making ever more beautiful music.
