In today's episode I'm sharing with you a concept called "The Hour Of Giving".  What would happen if you spent the first hour of every day making deposits into the emotional bank accounts of others? What shifts do you think you'd see in your relationships? In your job? In your business? In your health? I was listening to a new favorite podcast of mine called Side Hustle Nation, and the host Nick Loper was interviewing a man named Vincent Pugliese on how he went from making $32,000 annually to $32,000 in a single day. Vincent learned how to more effectively leverage his skills and use his network (more on that in a second) to dramatically expand his business in a few short years. Now, one of the major reasons whyVincent credits his businesses growth, is the power of his network.  Vincent gave and gave and gave to others, with no expectation of receiving anything in return (other than the satisfaction of helping someone else out). He trained himself to be more selfless, and even developed a habit of "The Hour Of Giving". Each morning, Vincent would spend the first hour of his day giving to other people. It might look like a thank you card, or a warm email, or a comment on a person's recent blog post, or a review on their latest Amazon book. Whatever it was, the idea was simple: to begin the day thinking about others, and not thinking about himself. I was incredibly inspired by this idea of intentionally carving out time each day to make deposits into other people's tanks, and that's what inspired this episode!
