Description
Today’s guest connected with Rosetta through their shared business mentor. Maribel Jimenez is the founder of Your Dream Launch, a business focused on helping entrepreneurs tap into their gifts and get their work out there. Maribel offers support and strategy around launches, which is something she has experience with for her own businesses. For Maribel, it’s all about simplifying the process in order to allow her clients to follow their purpose, share their gifts, and build a successful business. Taking a leap of faith to follow your dreams. Maribel spent many years working hard to build a skill set and a career she could be proud of. She realized she could put her gifts to better use by building her own business, which is a dream Maribel has held onto for quite some time. She realized it was time to take the leap of faith and follow her purpose when she faced a difficult family struggle with her son being in the hospital. This gave her the strength to face her fears and go after her dreams. And so, she built her first business and spent time understanding the most effective strategy for her launch. It was during this process that she realized she needed to share her strategy with others. Getting rid of limiting beliefs. As Maribel grew her business, she had to overcome the limiting beliefs that had become ingrained in her through the years. She shares some action steps that you can implement if you’re ready to get started. The most important step? Setting goals. For Maribel, this is the root of everything. She discusses the danger of limiting beliefs and the difficulty of getting rid of them when trying to make a life change. Maribel relates limiting beliefs to weeds - they pop up with no effort and flourish without any attention. The key for Maribel was replacing those limiting beliefs with a new belief - one that makes it all seem possible. Everything begins with goals. As she explains her 5-step strategy, which starts with goal-setting, it’s clear Maribel understands what it’s like to face obstacles and work hard to overcome them. After goal-setting, Maribel explains the value of deciding on strategies that will bring it all to life. She also discusses the importance of breaking down your plan into small, actionable chunks to make it all seem more doable. The final step? Accountability. Maribel shares the value of having an accountability partner and how that can truly propel your business to the next level. Feel the fear and do it anyway. As she closes out her chat with Rosetta, Maribel shares her daily routine and how she’s managed to transform her work week into a 2-day work week. She does this by focusing on the most powerful tasks she can do and getting those done in the 2 days of her week. Maribel also discusses how she manages to balance it all - a busy business with a busy family (including a brand new baby). In closing, she shares her number one piece of advice to female entrepreneurs who are thinking about taking that leap of faith: feel the fear and do it anyway.
