Patricia Moreno has been training, mentoring, and educating people all over the world for over 30 years. Her struggles with weight (she weighed in at 212 pounds in 8th grade), eating disorders, and body image led her to create IntenSati - a multidisciplinary study of fitness, martial arts, nutrition, dance, and spiritual practice, which is now taught by thousands of instructors all over the world. I met Patricia at a speaking event and quickly discovered that she views fitness as a “spiritual” practice beyond just the physical. In other words, you’ve got to be fit both inside and out. And since beating cancer, I’ve realized that our HEALTH is not merely important, it needs to be our #1 priority, otherwise we won’t have the energy to optimize and enjoy our other priorities.
